Hi there all
Thxs to all the guys for keeping us all in check and getting us there safely....eg; Rob, Wayne Dennis, Martin and Dave.......hope I didn't miss anyone. Yes the dust wasn't great but all part of the adventure. Loved meeting other club members and appreciated all checking in's with those stopped by the side of the road to see they were good to go.......good team work. The people of Zebellos were excellent and went beyond the call of duty ........... apparently I forgot a few things lolololol. Both Lorne and I had an excellent time and we sure needed it and are looking forward to the next.............I hear Nanaimo calling in June.
Keep on coughing and as Vicky said" I'm still pooping potatoes from my eyes"
Peace out all
Dana/Lorne

ahhhh.....Yes...... please refer to me as Dusty Rhodes for sure after the Zeballos trip. Couldn't see 10 feet in front of you in some cases but with keeping back a bit it wasnt too bad. Quite a thirsty ride I found ... That's an understatement!
Thanks for leaving the invitation open for us all to join you. Aside from the dust and the occasional pitfall with a group of that size (those folks in the Lake campsite must have been surprised) it was overall a great experience with really nice people . Have some new stories to tell alright... I'd say more but you know what they say " what goes on the road stays on the road".
I didn't get but a couple pics & I'm hoping that I'll get some emailed to me so I can post them. Hint Hint I hope you don't mind if I copy some from here.
Hope to see you down in Nanaimo. Cheers!

Great pictures and comments. There were 51 quads and 4- 2 wheelers on the ride. Some rode double, so over 60 participants. Departed Gold River at 10:45a.m.,few stragglers waited for. Rode to Klaklaklama Lake for lunch break. Some continued on to Zebellos via Woss for fuel while others rode to Mt. Cain Ski Hill. Great views. Saw elk, deer and bears. Arrived in Zebellos between 6:30 and 8:30 in the evening. As you can see from the pictures there was a beach fire and social hour. Departed Zebellos around 9:00 a.m. for the return trip. A group headed up to the Gold mine and some started the trek home. Once again a fuel stop and ice cream break in Woss and we were off. Visited several lakes on the route home and most were back in Gold River around 4:00. My odometer showed 385.9 km. round trip. Thanks to all those that participated. We had freinds from Powell River, Nanaimo,Comox,Quadrs Island and Campbell River. Hope you all had an enjoyable ride and you now know the way to Zebellos. Thankyou to the people of Zebellos for being so accomodating and making sure we had food and fuel. Special thanks to Rob Damer(Flipper) for getting clearance from the RCMP and Zebellos Mayor to make the ride.
Where are we going next year? _________________ OVER THE HILLS ANGELS

I suspect the group probably left in the neighbour hood of $10,000 between Woss and Zeballos as a result of the ride.

With what i,ve seen of the trail net work & upgrades through pics i,ve seen the Powell River area looks pretty darn inviting to me ,think we can talk em into it, how about some feed back--(just my thoughts on this subject). _________________ 800 Polaris Deluxe, Alum Rims, 26" Dirt Devils, Winch, Fender Protectors, Factory Racks, Front Bush Bumper, Rear Tube Bumper, Duel Exhaust, Alarm.

Any time you guys feel like a road trip just give me a few days notice so I can make plans.
Some of our best areas are closed either by slides, Logging or the construction of the Plutonic Power Project but there is still lots of good riding.
Ride safe

Yes a big thankyou to everyone!:)The dust was just part of the experience, the conversation, the new folks to meet, the scenery...(Well what you could see of it through the dust)!!!I rode along a bit here and there alone! That in itself was a great feeling. The dust was behind me..so it was a clear view all the way.Around every corner was spectacular sights..of rivers and mountains..etc.I encountered some wild life along the way..which was a nice conclusion to the journey! What a super bunch of folks!!!Thanks again...too all!!!:)Hugs....Kathy from courtenay:) _________________ Get -R -done!!!
