Before I start my rant...I have attempted to contact a certain
hairy carnivoire as to the reason they dropped out of the ride!
just talked to Mrs Bear..seems there was a mech problem with
Kelly's quad..plus his Son's quad...and it seems we didn't wait
for them to catch up.I heard mention ,something about the "last
man rule".
Today aprox 27 quads met at the Cranberry Junction! Cool
Dave (Dirtdigger) was ride leader...and by the time we made our
first stop...we were missing at least 5 people from Campbell River.
Now...the ride itself was excellent...you couldn't ask for better weather..
clear and crisp..and NO DUST!!!
Everyone behaved themselves...with the exception of Deano..who ran into
the back of Shiela's (wife) quad....guess he won't be talking about women
drivers,anytime soon. Embarassed
Our group rode up to the lookout over Wolfe Lake on Constitution Hill...
then we visited Regan Lake...where we lost chatty patty Bender and his
admirers. From there the group rode down to Blue Grouse Lake,Lost Lake and
Little Lost Lake....before hitting Duncan Bay Main for the run back to the trucks.
Mikey had his new BF650 out and came very near to running out of gas. Shocked
Also had a close up look at a new Outlander. All in all..we rode 86.3 klicks!
I would like to take this opportunity to Thank Dave for being the Leader
on a fantastic day of quading! Laughing
One final note...when you have a large group of riders...we have to make sure
EVERYONE is accounted for....Nobody stays behind...

Had a great ride Budsky even though that new Outlander was the only one that had to take a second try at the greasy slope coming out of the river. (kinda surprised Bender didn't have anything to say about that!)

Cheers & thanks to the Wagonmaster aka Dirtdigger
